Two distinct spaces, one location. A custom stretch tent terrace cover at the building — 18m wide, only 4.5m deep, center poles out of the question. And a standalone semi-permanent garden structure for groups of 40 to 50, connected to the terrace and multifunctional by design.

Our high-low system spans the full 18m without a single center pole, preserving natural light and keeping sightlines to the garden completely open. The standalone garden structure was positioned to connect naturally to the terrace — a landmark and a shelter, whatever the season.

Both structures were finished in Chino, a warm, natural tone that sits perfectly in the green landscape of the Torenhof garden. A matte exterior coating ensures year-round durability, while the organic canvas interior creates the warm, welcoming atmosphere that Marilyn's guests expect from the moment they arrive.

When the Shrimpura group approached us, their terraces needed new stretch tent coverage. The existing white stretch material had aged poorly, water pooling had left residue and compromised the fabric. The added complexity? The terraces run in an L-shape. The brief: one continuous structure that follows the corner seamlessly without pooling.

The L-shaped configuration made this anything but straightforward. After assessing the existing conditions and identifying the root causes, we engineered a 25m custom gutter system that follows the exact L-shape of the roof -evacuating water efficiently and extending the lifespan of the new stretch fabric.

A white translucent stretch material brings a bright, summery feel to the terrace. White coated steel posts eliminate the need for ropes or ground anchors. A matte exterior coating ensures long-term durability, while the organic canvas interior delivers warmth and a natural aesthetic.

The beautifully situated monumental mansion with its location and beautiful garden has all the assets to create a unique experience. The extension of the terrace and the requested enclosure asked us to respect the natural elements present and integration of them is key in this story.

The complexity required us to combine different installation techniques and preserve the aesthetic aspect and natural geometry. The organic stretch tent fabric with the already existing elements creates a perfect symbiosis and with the optimal height and flexibility we created the necessary space for a balanced dance of light and nature.

With the choice of a white translucent stretch material we obtain a pleasant shadow play from the leafy deck of the plane trees. The two black coated steel posts take care of the unnecessary anchors and ropes. Our matte exterior coating ensures longevity, while the organic canvas on the inside provides a warm, natural feel.

Built around a flexible setup logic, the system allows multiple configurations depending on site, wind direction and desired openness.
